We have planned to educate our youths on HIV/AIDS, suicide, drugs, etc. We will be doing skills training sessions by making puppets to demonstrate the various issues such as suicide and other issues. However, we will be carrying out training sessions in schools, and churches. Our main aim is to make our community be aware of the issues in today’s society that we have learnt about in our first training session of Youth Can Move the World.

The aim of this small group of six persons is to increase awareness of AIDS/HIV and other destructive diseases. We also have faith that through the uniting of our group members (who belong to different communities and have different backgrounds) we can unite our communities and break barriers and ultimately reunite Guyana. We hope also to have youths realize their self-worth and in this way minimize the use of dangerous substances such as drugs, alcohol and to think before committing suicide. We also want to protect the environment.
