Disaster Preparedness and First Aid Instructor



I am a student in the Business field.



I am a First Aid Instructor and involved recently in mass casualty training. I assist in training ambulance attendants as well.

I joined the Red Cross to learn First Aid.

Red Cross for me is a learning experience. I believe that as Guyanese, we need to be more prepared to assist persons who need help and to bring relief to my countrymen who are suffering from any natural or man-made disasters. Red Cross is an organization that helped me as a person by making it possible for me to help other Guyanese.


A volunteer is a person who puts aside some of their precious time for the benefit of others without looking for monetary rewards or personal gain; but because of their love for humanity.



I would like to continue my studies in Business Management and Information Technology and also continue to be actively involved in Red Cross activities and help the Red Cross expand throughout
Guyana.
