First Aid Instructor
I am a tour guide / tour operator. I take persons on guided tours to various parts of my
country.
I assist the Red Cross as a First Aid Instructor. I also help newly arrived overseas
volunteers to become acquainted with my city to make them feel more at home.
As a tour guide operator, I needed to learn First Aid. After taking this course with the
Red Cross, I
was asked if i would like to become an instructor. I recognized that I could give
assistance on the
days that I was not our as a tour guide and so became an instructor.
An organization that serves as an avenue for me to reach out and help others in any way
possible.
A volunteer is someone who can give back something they have learned to others.
I will continue to work in the area as a tour guide and to give service to my community. |
