Guyana and the Philippines established diplomatic relations on Thursday, September 25, 2008 through a Joint Communique which was signed by H.E. Carolyn Rodrigues-Birkett, Minister of Foreign Affairs and H.E. Alberto G. Romulo, Secretary of Foreign Affairs of the Philippines.
