Lifeline Counselling Services is a registered, non-profit non-governmental organisation. We are located at 11 Lamaha Street, Alberttown, Georgetown, Guyana (two doors west of Light Street).                         Lifeline was established on October 22, 1996 primarily to provide counselling for persons living with or affected by HIV. Over the years, though, we have expanded and are now aggressively responding to the epidemic with a variety of social services.

Lifeline Counselling Services now  offers  general and  confidential integrated and hotline counselling, care  and  support including Voluntary Counselling and Testing, Orphans and Vulnerable Children programme, Home Community and Palliative Care, skills training, vibrant youth club, condom distribution, information  and research materials HIV educational tapes for rental or purchase.

Lifeline has contact with hundreds of persons each year through its programmes. Our message has been heard not only across the country, but also throughout the Caribbean, and even internationally.
