Software Freedom Day in BerbiceOn Friday 17th October, 2008 from 10:00am to 3:00pm University of Guyana, Berbice Campus Tain, Corentyne All are invited - students, teachers, people who know a lot about computers, people who know nothing about computers.... Presentations : 10:00am to 10:30am 10:30am to 11:10am Software Freedom Day 2008 EventI was there and I enjoyed the presentations. It was good, we need more like this in guyana , although I didnt get to stay at the end for the last presentation. Thanks.... The objective of the activity was to contribute to the public awareness about free and open source software. Orion installs the software from the TTCSOSSWIN CD on all the systems which they sell. One of the systems was on display.
