Description
A small Amerindian Village on the banks of the Pokerero Creek.

Route
Georgetown to Timehri Stelling by # 42 minibus = GUY $100

Timehri Stelling to Santa Mission by speedboat. This can be arranged in advance by contacting Bye-Bye: Tel: 261-2520. Costs for boat hire vary depending on whether it is for a day or an overnight trip. For approximately eight people, dropping off one day then picking up the following day costs about GUY $15,000. There is a service boat on certain days which is much cheaper - for details ask the village captain, Captain Patterson (see below)

Accommodation and Food
Accommodation is in a benab situated on the banks of the creek. It will accommodate about eight people. Take everything you will need for your trip - hammocks, food, nets, water and cooking equipment including a kerosene stove. The charge is GUY $1000 per person per night.

Additional Information
You must contact Captain Patterson for permission to visit or stay overnight at Santa Mission: Tel: 261-2561. There is a small shop, which sells soft drinks and basic supplies at a cost. There is also a gift shop with Amerindian crafts on sale at a better price than in Georgetown.
