Route
By Air:
Trans Guyana fly into Port Kaituma on Monday/Wednesday/Friday and Saturday. Flights depart from Ogle airport at 7:45 am and take about 1 hour. Planes depart Port Kaituma on the same days at 9:50 am. Cost = GUY $12,000 single and GUY $23,000 return.

By Land:
Alternatively, plan a long overland trip. Travel to Moruca (see relevant section) and take
a boat from Moruca to Port Kaituma. You can also travel by boat from Mabaruma. Cost unknown.

The journey would take around 2 days overland from Georgetown.

Accommodation and Food
There is a guest house. Ask locally for information. Shops sell all the basics.
