A well-established 120 hour training programme for volunteers in collaboration with the Institute of Distance and Continuing Education, University of Guyana.

CBR is the only organisation in Guyana that has a loan scheme project specifically for persons with disabilities. These loans facilitate the development or expansion of micro-enterprises such as poultry farming, furniture manufacture, sewing projects and vending.

Vocational skills training for persons with disabilities, and securing their eventual placement in employment.

Public awareness programmes to educate members of the public and key public sector officials on the needs and rights of persons with disabilities.

Every year CBR receives students from the School of Medicine, University of Guyana and other international institutions such as University of Masstricht for the completion of courses related to community health. In consultation with CBR, these students undertake research studies on issues related to disability and rehabilitation.
