Structure
The GCBRP seeks to be a robust, dynamic, innovative and well recognised organisation that purposefully involves and enables persons with disabilities, their family members and the community to realise their full potential and facilitate the inclusion of persons with disabilities in the social, economic, political and cultural aspects of Guyanese society.

As an agent of change, the GCBRP will mobilise action in communities through a network of capable and committed volunteers and supporters who will work with government, non-governmental organizations, the private sector and the public to positively influence perceptions, attitudes and policies to create an enabling environment for meaningful participation of persons with disabilities.

Organisational Development

To improve GCBRP’s organisational structure in order for GCBRP to achieve maximum results in delivering its strategic plan at National and Regional levels.

Advocacy and Awareness

To positively influence the perceptions, attitudes and actions of government and the public to facilitate the integration of persons with disabilities into the mainstream of Guyanese society.

Community Based Action

To mobilise communities to create an enabling environment for persons with disabilities to realise their full potential.

Access to Education

To improve early intervention and access to education for children with disabilities at all levels from nursery school to University.

Volunteer Training, Action and Retention

To attract and train an adequate team of capable and committed volunteers from a wide cross-section of the community who help deliver programmes for persons with disabilities in the community.
